The Right Side

The Right Side

I am beginning to observe more and more that there seems to be a disconnect with individuals in America on what’s right and decent, from the subjects of abortion, to justice in the Justin Smollett case.

It is wide ranging the effects of a society that is drifting down the river like a piece of wood that’s been taken away from an established tree.

Sad to say it doesn’t seem like it’s improving, but individuals are digging their heals in and fighting to the bitter end. The days, weeks, months and years ahead are going to be interesting to say the least.

I want to give you some advice, make sure your actions, beliefs, and ways are rooted on the right side. To give you a hint, that would be the side God Almighty is on and He does have a side!

His side is rooted and grounded in His Word with the Holy Spirit’s direction, no matter how loud the talking heads on TV, radio or the printed page scream, also the decision makers at Facebook, Google and Amazon. When the dust settles God’s truth will be the only one standing!

I can guarantee you of that fact. Here’s what the right side says about it:

19 But God’s truth stands firm like a great rock, and nothing can shake it. It is a foundation stone with these words written on it: “The Lord knows those who are really his,” and “A person who calls himself a Christian should not be doing things that are wrong.” (2 Timothy 2:19) TLB.

It is not a time for you to be a silent believer in Jesus it’s time for you to roar like a lion in the market place of life. You must speak up and proclaim the truth no matter the opposition you will face.

If you visit the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington DC you will see this quote:

“First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.”

bad time

This quote is from a Lutheran Pastor by the name of Martin Niemoeller (a victim of the Nazis in Germany).

What a powerful statement we can apply to our time!

It’s time for the right side to speak up!

Don’t expect any help from social media in the near future, they are slowly and methodically trying to stamp out references of our Christian faith over the internet daily. There will come a time when you must be able to hear the voice of the Lord and follow it without anyone telling you anything.

My word to you is to practice being in and knowing the presence of God in the days to come. Then you won’t be tricked and you will stay on the right side.

STAY STRONG!!!
