What You Are Doing Is Important!

What You Are Doing Is Important!

I have noticed that every day of your life, you are writing a page in a book that is read by everyone you come in contact with. It probably will never be sold in bookstores or make it on the New York Times Top 10 Best Sellers list, but your book is being read daily. I have eight immediate people reading my book. Those eight readers are very important to me, they are my family. The pages that I write daily in their presence are being edged indelibly in their minds. So it be behooves me to give it my best shot daily to make it a masterpiece.

I can at times recall the book my father wrote during his life time. I will at times out of nowhere in my mind recall a page, some good, but mostly not so good, of things that happened. From the way he treated my mother at times, to the way he would spend a lot of his time on weekends in Akron, Ohio without us, to the way he related to his children. You see whether you like it or not you are an author of a book. I am writing this to make you aware of that fact, and to encourage you, and if needed to make some changes to that book before it is too late.

That book might possibly have been up to this point, not something that was inspiring to read, but while there is breath in your lungs you can change that. My father passed away a few years ago, but his book is still in those closest to him. See, even though you are writing your book as we speak, your book will eventually keep going way after you are six feet under. So I encourage you from this point on to write it well, make sure what’s said about your book in the future inspires people to do better, leave a worthy legacy!

2 Corinthians 3:3
You make it clear that you are a letter from the Messiah placed in our care, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on stone tablets but on human hearts.
